Lumbar Traction

VAX-D Lumbar TractionWe can provide a specialized form of lumbar traction often referred to as IDD (Internal Disc Decompression) or VAX-D (vertebral axial-Distraction). This advanced form of intermittent traction helps to hydrate, lubricate and provide nutrients to herniated discs. This lower back pain treatment has been shown in scientific studies to be remarkable effective (86%-95% success rates). Insurance may cover all or part of the treatment.

We may also recommend low level laser therapy (LLLT).

Payment

The cash pay program for a herniated disc consists of a pre-payment of $1900 for the initial 12 treatments. Most patients with a herniated disc will require a second round of treatment. The initial 12 should produce significant improvement and is therefore used as a check point for progress. Treatment frequency should be set at three to six times a week. Many chronic (non-disc) back pain patients will be satisfied with their progress at 12 visits and may not need regular appointments afterwards. This treatment program provides a substantial saving compared to paying for each service. It also guarantees the full serve of treatment that you deserve. Many clinics in NY and NJ charge as much as $140/laser treatment and $160/traction treatment and this does not even include chiropractic adjustments, exercises or nutritional supplements. We are not aware of any clinic or hospital in the region that has this program available at any price. You owe it to yourself to find out if this can work for you.

Our affiliate Pain Free PT can provide much the same services but though a licensed physical therapist. This may be helpful if you have insurance coverage for Physical therapy but not chiropractic care. Their telephone # is 617-696-7872.
